Well, my first day in Vegas is over for me. I am absolutely exhausted from getting up at 5 this morning and now it is only 7:45pm here in Vegas, but that would put it around 10:30pm in Richmond. So it feels much later for me. It also doesn’t help that I had a few beers with some people earlier, and now I can no longer say that I have never hung out with Rob Conery, Scott Hanselman, Jon Galloway, David Laribee and Michael Moser. I had a few drinks with them over at the Zefferino restaurant here at the Venetian. It was really cool meeting them all in person, and it was weird at the same time because you feel like you know them from reading their blogs every day. It was also nice that Scott Hanselman tossed me a free copy of his new book and I got him to reluctantly sign it. I’m sure I looked like a total douchebag getting him to sign the book, but hey, it is not every day that you get a technical author to sign his work!
